We are seeking a motivated and technically experienced IPS Engineer to join our Defence Group.

This role involves hands-on execution of logistics engineering tasks, material management, and inventory assessment to meet maintenance and operational objectives.

Duties and responsibilities:

* Support the IPS team in the development of analysis, technical documentation, and contract deliverables.
* Execute logistics engineering and technical spares assessing in accordance with relevant Defence standards.
* Work closely with technical teams to ensure that support systems are robust, cost-effective, and aligned with Defence standards.
* Implement and maintain structured material management plans to meet maintenance, quality, and operational objectives.
* Use and maintain logistics maintenance systems (MILIS, CAMM2, MEX, or Dynamics) to manage technical data and assets.
* Provide technical input into the Technical Data List (TDL), Customer Status Reports (CSR), and Engineering Change Proposals (ECP).

Core skills and competencies we are looking for:

* Proficient in the use of Inventory Management Systems and logistics maintenance platforms such as MILIS, ERP, CAMM2, or AMPS.
* Excellent problem-solving skills with the ability to perform technical spares assessing and RAM tasks.
* Proficiency in technical data management and the development of technical documentation.
* Knowledge of the Systems Engineering (SE) process and its application to support services.
* Strong analytical and problem-solving skills with the ability to troubleshoot support system issues.
* Excellent written communication skills for the development of CDRLs and status reports.
* Ability to work effectively within a multidisciplinary team environment.

Qualifications and experience required:

* Bachelor's degree in engineering or a relevant technical trade qualification.
* A minimum of 3-5 years of experience in technical logistics or support engineering within Defence context is required.
* Proven experience using ERP systems (CMTU) and Defence-specific maintenance tools (CAMM2, MILIS)
* Experience working within the Australian Defence sustainment or acquisition frameworks.
* Experience in managing projects, including planning, execution and monitoring of IPS activities will be highly regarded
* Possession of, or the ability to qualify for, an Australian defence security clearance (baseline minimum, NV1 preferred)

Australian citizenship is required for this position due to security clearance requirements.
