ING Australia is looking for a Senior Marketing Analyst who is a proactive problem solver, passionate about analytics and proving the value of marketing in driving positive business outcomes.
You’ll be tasked with advancing our marketing effectiveness capabilities via the marketing mix modeling platform, extracting insight from historic marketing campaigns/activity/investment, informing what the future marketing outcomes will be, demonstrating commercial acumen and growing relationships with executive stakeholders.
You’ll also be growing and managing the comprehensive marketing analytics platform, building and voicing demonstration of marketing business value, and establishing and fostering marketing effectiveness methodologies within the marketing team.

What You’ll Do
* Deliver next evolution of marketing effectiveness strategy that guides marketing approach, taking into account existing and intended opportunities e.g. modelling, attribution, reporting, data pipelines and metrics
* Work with 3rd party vendors, expert leads and finance/business planning stakeholders to turn data into actionable insights and present back to senior leaders within the organization.
* Work with the wider analytics global community across insights, machine learning, and visualisation to foster best in class marketing analytics and behaviours within the ING Australia marketing team
* Aid in translating models and subsequently define marketing investment decisions in conjunction with expert leads and aligned to agile requirements
What We’re Looking For
* Proven expertise using dashboarding tools and tech – specifically Adobe Analytics, Tableau, Google Data Studio, Power BI
* Experience working with SQL/SAS
* 5+ years’ experience in a similar role, ideally within a marketing organisation or agency
* Experience in working with a Marketing Mix modelling platform is a plus.
* Experience scoping and delivering statistical analysis e.g. regression modelling such as linear, logistic, and time series data
* Strong verbal and written skills with ability to effectively communicate highly complex findings to non-statistical audience
