Job Description
We are seeking a highly capable and commercially minded Financial Controller who is responsible for the efficient and effective operation of the Finance Function, to maximise profitability and overall financial performance. The primary function is to maintain control over income, expenses and assets of the business in compliance with company policies and procedures, as well as local requirements.
Key Responsibilities
* Partner with the General Manager and Hotel Leadership to support financial strategy, performance, and decision‐making
* Deliver accurate and timely weekly, monthly, and annual financial report to Accor and ownership groups
* Lead budgeting, forecasting, cash flow management, and financial planning processes
* Oversee payroll operations, ensuring accuracy, compliance, and alignment with legislative requirements
* Provide financial guidance on Management Agreements, Owners Corporation matters, and HMA compliance
* Drive continuous improvement across financial systems, controls, policies, and reporting processes
* Support department heads with financial analysis, reporting, and commercial insights to improve profitability
* Ensure compliance with Accor financial policies, WH&S obligations, and all relevant statutory and legislative requirements
Qualifications
* Tertiary qualification in Accounting, Finance, Commerce or a related discipline
* CA or CPA qualified
