About the Role
We are currently seeking experienced support workers for a 60-year-old female participant in Laidley, QLD, who sustained a spinal cord.
We are looking for support workers to cover care needs from Monday through to Sunday, in the morning (7:00 AM - 9:00 AM) and the evening (6:00 PM - 8:00 PM).
Key Responsibilities
* Personal care and hygiene
* Domestic assistance
* Meal preparation
* Autonomic dysreflexia management
* Catheter and bowel management
* Medication management
* Skin integrity management
* Manual handling - use of sling hoist and transfers
* Community access + health and rehab appointment
Pay Rates
* Day shift: $42.50/hour
* Saturday shift: $59.50/hour
* Sunday shift: $76.50/hour

Requirements
* Certificate III in Individual Support (or equivalent)
* Australian Driver Licence
* Current Police Check
* First Aid & CPR certification
* Current Blue Card
* NDIS Worker Screening Check
* Completion of NDIS Worker Orientation Module
* Completion of Effective Communication Module (NDIS)
* Third-party compulsory car insurance
* Two professional references
