Key Role Overview
The successful Business Systems and Insights Manager will play a pivotal role in driving continuous improvement across business systems, delivering meaningful data insights that enhance operational performance.
This is a key leadership position responsible for driving strategic change, delivering impactful data insights, and enhancing operational efficiency. The role requires strong stakeholder engagement and a proactive approach to identifying opportunities for improvement.
* Provide visionary leadership and direction for continuous improvement across business systems supporting finance, procurement, supply chain, and enterprise portfolio and programme management.
* Lead and develop a team of analysts, overseeing the end-to-end change and maintenance request process, including prioritisation of system enhancements and upgrades.
* Partner with executive-level stakeholders and Digital partners to address system defects, develop compelling business cases, and deliver enhancements that align with business needs and strategic goals.
* Oversee user acceptance testing and ensure all system changes comply with relevant legislative and regulatory requirements.
* Drive the development and implementation of a forward-thinking systems roadmap, ensuring alignment with organisational priorities and operational excellence.
* Lead the growth of data analytics capability across multiple business units, enabling data-driven decision-making and delivering actionable insights back to the business.
* Promote cross-functional collaboration to identify process improvements and support the delivery of strategic outcomes.
The ideal candidate will have a minimum of 7 years' experience in systems improvement and data strategy within a complex organisational environment.
They will possess proven success in leading transformative change initiatives from scoping, implementation through to business-as-usual operations.
Strong strategic and critical thinking capabilities, with the ability to manage large-scale transformational change and system transitions, are essential.
A high-level people leadership skillset, including coaching, mentoring, and guiding teams through periods of change, is also required.
Exceptional communication, negotiation, and stakeholder engagement abilities, with a proven capacity to influence outcomes at all levels of the organisation, are necessary.
