Join a Leading Surveying and Spatial Team
We are seeking an experienced Cadastral Drafter to join our growing Survey team in Adelaide. This is an exciting opportunity to work on a diverse range of land development, infrastructure, and cadastral projects across South Australia while collaborating with Licensed Surveyors, Project Managers, and industry-leading professionals.
The successful candidate will play a key role in the preparation and delivery of cadastral documentation, land division plans, easements, community title developments, and survey drafting services for a broad client base including developers, government agencies, local councils, and private clients.
About the Role
Reporting to the Land Development Manager, your responsibilities will include:
* Preparation of Deposited Plans (DPs), Community Plans, Easement Plans, Lease Plans, and Land Division documentation.
* Preparation and lodgement of plans through South Australia's Digital Plan Lodgement (DPL) system.
* Coordinating and responding to plan examination requirements from the Land Services SA (LSSA).
* Preparing Land Services SA (LSSA) compliant cadastral plans and associated documentation.
* Assisting Licensed Surveyors with plan preparation.
* Managing cadastral drafting deliverables to meet project deadlines and client expectations.
* Maintaining drafting standards and ensuring compliance with South Australian legislation and survey practice requirements.
* Liaising with surveyors, planners, engineers, government authorities, and clients as required.
About You
To be successful in this role, you will possess:
* Demonstrated experience as a Cadastral Drafter within South Australia.
* Strong working knowledge of Digital Plan Lodgement (DPL) processes.
* Experience preparing plans for submission to Land Services SA (LSSA).
* Sound understanding of South Australian cadastral legislation, land division processes, and Plan presentation Guidelines (PPG).
* Proficiency in AutoCAD, or similar drafting software.
* Excellent attention to detail and commitment to quality documentation.
* Strong communication and organisational skills.
* Ability to work independently while contributing to a collaborative team environment.
