About the Role

The Industry Engagement and Corporate Partnership Manager provides strategic leadership in cultivating, managing, and expanding high value partnerships with key stakeholders, including corporate entities and other educational providers to promote Stanley College, expand employer networks to increase placement capacity, internship opportunities and graduate employability pathways.

The role is instrumental in expanding the College's market presence across multiple sectors through high impact partnership development, strategic commercial collaboration, and proactive industry leadership. This includes identifying new revenue generating opportunities, strengthening employer networks, and ensuring Stanley College remains a preferred partner for industry-aligned workforce pathways.

Key Responsibilities:

Strategic Industry Engagement Commercial Partnership Development

* Lead the commercial and strategic direction of industry engagement initiatives, ensuring alignment with institutional and revenuegrowth objectives.
* Build, negotiate, and strengthen highvalue partnerships with corporate entities and other educational
* providers.
* Identify and secure new commercial opportunities, including funded projects, enterprise partnerships, tenders, and corporate training agreements.
* Represent Stanley College at executivelevel meetings, industry events, and sector forums to elevate the College's market position.
* Drive strategic outreach including corporate presentations, B2B negotiations, and commercial
* partnership proposals.

Placement Quality Assurance & Employer Partnership Oversight

* Ensure all corporate and communitybased placements meet safety, quality, and compliance
* requirements.
* Oversee due diligence, evaluation, and approval of host organisations to maintain regulatory and
* commercial standards.
* Maintain a robust pipeline of placement opportunities to support enrolment forecasts and industry
* demand.
* Lead resolution of escalated issues, risks, or partnership challenges affecting student experience or
* compliance.
* Collaborate with academic teams to enhance industry-aligned student readiness, placement quality, and partner satisfaction.

Commercial Reporting, Governance & Strategic Alignment

* Lead reporting on commercial partnership activity, pipelines, forecasts, and revenuerelated metrics to support executivelevel decisions.
* Provide insights into industry trends, workforce needs, and partnership performance to inform program development.
* Ensure all contracts, agreements, and documentation comply with regulatory frameworks (e.g., ASQA, TEQSA).
* Identify operational risks, partnership gaps, and opportunities for scalability, efficiency, and growth.

Institutional Leadership & Continuous Improvement

* Champion Stanley College's industry and corporate engagement profile through strategic advocacy and partnership influence.
* Lead continuous improvement initiatives across engagement workflows, partnership management
* systems, and digital processes.
* Promote CRM adoption, data-driven decision making, and process automation to enhance commercial performance.
* Support enterprise-wide initiatives, tenders, audits, and strategic business development projects.
* Promote an inclusive, ethical, and commercially sustainable engagement culture across the institution.

Qualifications and experience:

* Tertiary qualification in Business, Leadership, Community Services, Education, or a related field.
* Postgraduate qualifications (MBA, leadership, management) highly desirable.
* Extensive experience in corporate partnerships, industry engagement, stakeholder management, or
* commercial development at a senior level.
* Demonstrated ability to secure and manage major commercial partnerships and enterpriselevel
* collaborations.
* Proven experience leading teams, driving strategic initiatives, and achieving commercial and
* partnership growth targets.

Personal Attributes:

* Highly skilled in commercial negotiation, senior stakeholder engagement, and relationship management.
* Strong leadership capability with demonstrated success managing a small team, projects and complex initiatives.
* Strong communication skills with ability to influence stakeholders
* High level of digital literacy including CRM platforms, analytics tools, workflow automation, and reporting systems.
* Results driven with strong business acumen, integrity, and commitment to continuous improvement.
* Holds a current driver's licence and is willing to travel as part of partnership and engagement activities.
