Role Description
This is a full-time role for a Family Lawyer based in Mittagong and/or Picton NSW, with some work from home options. You will be responsible for representing clients in family law cases, including divorce, parenting, and property settlements. Daily tasks include corresponding with clients, drafting and reviewing legal documents, providing legal advice, appearances in Federal Circuit and Family Court of Australia, and negotiating on behalf of clients. Maintaining clear communication with clients and ensuring they are informed throughout their case is essential.
Qualifications
- Experience in family law, including divorce, parenting, and property settlements
- Legal research, drafting, and review of legal documents
- Strong negotiation and advocacy skills
- Effective communication and interpersonal skills
- Ability to work both independently and collaboratively in a hybrid work environment
- Knowledge of current legal technologies and resources
- Bachelor's degree in Law and admission to practice in NSW
- Accredited Specialisation in Family Law or working towards a plus.
