Position Overview
The Finance Manager role is a newly created position based in Brisbane or Darwin. The role is designed for an experienced professional with experience managing all aspects of financial management and accounting. The successful candidate will lead the creation of processes and systems to support our growing business and will receive support from our US-based parent company.
The successful candidate will ideally have upstream experience in Australia, with a preference for an existing working knowledge of Quorum Software.
Position Job Duties
* Develop and lead Daly Waters accounting, payments and other finance management systems.
* Liaise with all functional and operations teams to ensure fit‐for‐purpose cost control and accounting processes are in place.
* Support the Australian leadership team to deliver disciplined cost control processes and outcomes.
* Financial audit and compliance process implementation.
Essential skills and experience
* Relevant tertiary qualification.
* 5+ years' experience in a similar role.
* Proven project management and delivery.
* Excellent communication skills, verbal and written, and able to build relationships with key stakeholders.
* Sound knowledge of relevant legislation, regulatory compliance, and strong accuracy in reporting.
