Role Overview/Key DutiesThe Service Desk Officer will play a key role in supporting the Department's transition to Windows 11 and the rollout of a new service management platform. The role involves providing first-line support to a diverse user base across multiple sites, with a focus on delivering high-quality customer service and maintaining strong communication with technical teams.
Ideal Candidate ProfileTo succeed in this role, you will have experience in providing ICT support in a busy Service Desk or Helpdesk environment, ideally within the public sector. You will bring a customer-focused approach, strong analytical and troubleshooting skills, and a willingness to learn new technologies. Over the next 12 months, you will have the opportunity to contribute to the Department's digital transformation projects and play a key role in supporting staff through significant system upgrades.
