Introduction
St Brigid's Primary School, Raymond Terrace is seeking a Temporary Part‐Time Administrative Officer (11 hours per week – 5 hours at Level 4 and 6 hours at Level 6) to join the team from May for the remainder of the year. Position Description
The School Administrative Officer provides administrative support to school staff and the school principal. Officers classified as Level 4, 5 or 6 carry duties aligned with the Catholic Schools Office, Diocese of Maitland‐Newcastle's leadership framework – Administrative Support.
Experience / Criteria
* Ability to articulate a clear understanding of and a personal commitment to Catholic Education and to actively support the Catholic ethos and culture of the school
* Excellent written and verbal communication skills; strong interpersonal skills
* Demonstrated experience using initiative and self‐motivation in the workplace
* Proficiency in performing a wide range of administrative tasks accurately and efficiently
* Intermediate experience with various databases, Microsoft Office, and Excel
* Capacity to organise, prioritise and multitask to meet deadlines
* Understanding and ability to maintain a high level of confidentiality
* Self‐motivated, able to work autonomously and be accountable for own work while supporting a team environment
* Willingness to comply with the CSO Accreditation to Work, Teach and Lead Policy (Category A – Accreditation to Work)
Qualifications
* Current paid NSW Working with Children Check (WWCC) number
* Completion of Anaphylaxis training

Salary is in accordance with the New South Wales & Australian Capital Territory Catholic Systemic Schools Enterprise Agreement 2025.
