We are looking for an Activity Supervisor for our Mental Health Services team
Join Southern Adelaide Local Health Network as a Part-time AHA2 Activity Supervisor in our Mental Health Unit. We are seeking a compassionate, motivated and creative Activity Supervisor to join our multidisciplinary team and support consumers in our Mental Health ward. This role is ideal for someone who is passionate about recovery-orientated care and enjoys facilitating meaningful engagement for people experiencing Mental Health challenges.
About the role:
* Supervise and coordinate patient activity programs within PICU and MTC settings
* Support junior staff and activity assistants in program delivery
* Maintain accurate documentation and patient records
* Collaborate with Nursing, Medical and Allied health teams
* Ensure compliance with safety protocols and infection control measures
About you:
* Ability to work respectfully with consumers and to value their individuality
* Experience working with people experiencing a disability and/or mental illness
* Experience in enabling individuals to develop a wide range of practical skills including employment, social, recreations and community living
* Ability to work collaboratively within a multi-disciplinary team
