Level 2 Support 6 month contract with well established organisation
Your new company
You'll be joining a well‑established organisation with a strong presence across production, supply chain, and corporate environments. Their Technology Support Team plays a critical role in keeping operations running smoothly, ensuring staff across multiple sites have reliable, high‑quality IT support. This role is based in Brisbane at a major production facility, with regular travel required to an onsite project located approximately two hours away - ideal for someone who enjoys variety in their workday and has a car and full driver's licence.
Your new role
As a Technical Support Specialist (TSS), you'll be the onsite face of IT, delivering Level 2 technical support across end‑user devices, applications, infrastructure, and production‑critical systems. You'll manage escalations, troubleshoot hardware and software issues, support AV and hybrid meeting room technology, and provide hands‑on assistance for local infrastructure tasks.
You'll oversee incident and request management through ServiceNow, support onboarding and offboarding activities, maintain accurate site documentation, and collaborate closely with offshore teams, project teams, and external vendors. You'll also contribute to technology projects, device refreshes, AV upgrades, and operational technology support. Participation in an after‑hours support roster is required.
What you'll need to succeed
Around 4 years' experience in a Level 2 or technical support role, ideally within FMCG, manufacturing, logistics, or field services
Strong technical capability across Microsoft 365, Windows 10/11, Active Directory, networking fundamentals, Wi‑Fi troubleshooting, and AV/hybrid meeting room systems
Hands‑on experience supporting end‑user devices, hardware/software troubleshooting, and infrastructure in time‑sensitive environments
Familiarity with ITSM tools (ServiceNow preferred) and ITIL‑aligned processes
Understanding of IT/OT environments such as SCADA, PLCs, RF scanners, or similar technologies
Ability to work effectively with onsite teams, offshore service desks, and external vendors
Strong communication and stakeholder engagement skills, with a customer‑focused approach
A valid driver's licence and access to a vehicle, with willingness to travel regularly to a site located two hours from the primary location
Commitment to safety, compliance, documentation accuracy, and continuous improvement
What you'll get in return
A 6‑month full‑time contract with a respected organisation in a fast‑paced operational environment
Exposure to both IT and OT systems, offering unique hands‑on experience across production and corporate settings
Opportunities to contribute to meaningful technology projects, upgrades, and change initiatives
A supportive team culture that values collaboration, learning, and service excellence
The chance to build strong relationships across multiple sites and work closely with senior technical specialists and leaders
