About the Role
Reporting to the Chief Business Development Officer, the Capture and Solutions Architect will be a driving force in shaping and capturing new business opportunities for Aurizn. This role will work with a range of internal and external stakeholders to define delivery approaches, commercial model, programmatic and technical solutioning, and ensure Aurizn's offering is aligned with customer operational needs and program objectives.
Key Responsibilities:
* Identify and shape strategic opportunities and develop capture strategies aligned with business priorities.
* Lead the design and architecture of customer solutions including programmatic delivery, technical solution, supply chain and commercial model.
* Coordinate internal stakeholders to develop innovative, competitive offerings.
* Support the development of prototypes or demonstration solutions where required to support strategic capture efforts.
* Manage and coordinate end-to-end capture activities, including proposal and bid development.
* Mentor Aurizn team members in opportunity shaping, solution development and producing compelling proposals.
* Collaborate with senior leadership to progress strategic opportunities inline with future strategic plans.
About You:
* Ability to obtain a NV1 security clearance is required.
* Bachelor's degree in Engineering or higher.
* A minimum of 10 years of previous experience in an engineering/technical role working in the Defence industry.
* Minimum experience of 2 years as a Solutions Architect the Growth function in the Defence industry. Experience across the broad defence acquisition lifecycle from early-stage technology development, to capability design and delivery through to sustainment.
* Demonstrated proficiency in capture management techniques and processes such as Shipleys, and the ability to tailor the processes to suit the maturity of the business as it grows.
* Ability to quickly understand technologies including AI/ML, DevSecOps, MLOps, network security, and various physics and parametric modelling techniques.
* Exceptional written and verbal communication, and strong stakeholder management skills.
