The Role
The key purpose of this role is to plan, execute, and implement projects that deliver intended business outcomes on time, on budget, and within defined quality and scope, in alignment with organisational priorities.
Strategy & Governance
* Develop, build, report, and govern the progress of all projects in line with the IT Project Management Office Framework.
* Assess, prioritise, and resolve or mitigate project risks as they arise.
* Represent projects at governance and inter‐department forums.
* Ensure alignment with project methodology compliance standards (PMBOK).
Business Relationship Management
* Develop communication plans and stakeholder engagement strategies.
* Partner with business sponsors to define success metrics and criteria.
* Communicate and report project progress to key stakeholders.
* Consult with stakeholders on project and process impacts across the business.
Project Delivery
* Define and create project plans for implementation.
* Manage all aspects of the project lifecycle, including operational checkpoints, overseeing all phases to completion.
* Coordinate resource management across all projects.
* Contribute to ongoing transformation and improvement initiatives within the IT Team.
Skills & Experience
* 5+ years of demonstrated experience delivering technical projects that support business solutions.
* Strong knowledge of project management and SDLC methodologies and tools (Agile, SCRUM, Waterfall, Iterative).
* Proficiency with Project and Portfolio Management tools (e.g., Visio, MS Project, Project Server).
* Certification in PMI, PRINCE2, or equivalent methodology.
* Change management experience is highly regarded.
* Experience in FMCG and/or manufacturing is highly desirable.
* Tertiary degree in Information Technology or equivalent industry experience.
