Azooa is preparing a response to an upcoming Australian Government RFQ (LH-05797) with the Department of Industry, Science and Resources (DISR) and we are seeking experienced Enterprise Architects / Solution Architects interested in contributing to major federal government digital initiatives.
This opportunity sits within the Chief Information Officer Division, supporting enterprise ICT services, modern digital platforms, and technology innovation that enable the department to deliver services to Australian businesses and the broader economy.

What You'll Be Doing
This role combines enterprise architecture strategy with solution architecture delivery, working across technology strategy, governance, and major ICT initiatives.
* Designing and implementing enterprise architecture frameworks
* Developing target‐state architectures, capability models, and technology roadmaps
* Supporting ICT investment planning and architecture‐driven decision making
* Providing architecture guidance to senior stakeholders and governance boards
* Aligning architecture with whole‐of‐government standards and strategies
* Leading end‐to‐end solution architecture across digital and ICT programs
* Producing solution designs, architecture diagrams, and technical documentation
* Designing across applications, integration, data, infrastructure/cloud, and security domains
* Ensuring alignment with security, compliance, and government ICT policies
* Identifying architecture risks, constraints, and delivery dependencies
Governance & Collaboration
* Supporting Architecture Review Boards and design authorities
* Collaborating with business stakeholders, program managers, and technical teams
* Communicating architecture concepts to technical and non‐technical audiences
* Helping mature enterprise architecture capability across the department
We are seeking professionals who bring:
* 5+ years experience as an Enterprise Architect or Solution Architect
* Experience working in complex enterprise environments (Australian Government highly regarded)
* Strong experience developing architecture artefacts and solution designs
* Ability to translate strategic objectives into architecture deliverables
* Experience across applications, data, integration, cloud/infrastructure, and cyber security
* Strong stakeholder engagement and communication skills
Highly Desirable
* Knowledge of DTA frameworks and whole‐of‐government architecture standards
* Understanding of government cyber security and ICT governance processes
