Job Description
15-20 hours per week. The role is labour intensive, with 15 out of our 18 apartments having stairs and the bedrooms and bathrooms located upstairs within each apartment. This means a lot of going up and down the stairs with bags of linen, bathroom cleaning supplies, etc.
The shifts would be an average of 3.5 hours and we would prefer the candidate to be available 7 days a week. Past cleaning experience isn't mandatory but would be of assistance to the application. The candidate needs to be comfortable working with staff of all ethnicities and those who speak different languages, including minimal English.
Opportunity for hours to expand to an extra 5-10 hours per fortnight if the candidate has a valid driver's license for associated business office — paid a trial shift to be arranged on successful application.
