About The Opportunity
Securecorp is thrilled to offer an exciting opportunity for a Full-Time Control Room Operator at one of our biotechnology sites in Broadmeadows.
This site is dedicated to producing a range of lifesaving medicines, including treatments for immune deficiencies and vaccines that help prevent influenza.
We are seeking an experienced Control Room Operator with a minimum of 2 years' experience in a fast-paced, high-pressure environment. The ideal candidate will have hands‑on experience with systems such as Gallagher, Avigilon, Genetec, Ascom, and PassagePoint.
Duties And Responsibilities
As part of our team, you will have the chance to:
* Monitor, operate and review CCTV system.
* Communicate and liaise with emergency services and associated internal and external stakeholders.
* Maintain and write accurate security incident reports, data logs, emergency response activities and visitor logs.
* Critically assess and respond to situations of risk adeptly and in line with standard operating procedures.
* Operate a two‑way radio communication network for security personnel and manage the deployment of security personnel.
* Access control to personnel, employees and visitors.
* Take part in ongoing training programs and exercises.
Key Selection Criteria
We're looking for candidates who:
* Hold a current Security Licence with a Control Room endorsement.
* Hold Hepatis B & Influenza Certificate (current & proof needed).
* Have strong administrative skills, computer competency, and excellent email etiquette.
* Demonstrated ability to work within a fast‑paced team environment and experience with Fire‑Panels.
* Knowledge across any of the following or similar software: Gallagher, Avigilon, Genetec, Ascom, Passagepoint.
* Have Current First Aid and CPR Certification.
* Have a valid Driver's license with transport.
* Can work collaboratively in a team or independently.
Flexibility to work rotating shifts, including nights and weekends, is essential.
Rostered Hours
Full Time 12 hr Rotating Roster or Full Time Reliever Opportunities.
