Physiotherapy Assistant Role
We are seeking a skilled and compassionate Physiotherapy Assistant to join our team. As an integral member of our healthcare team, you will work closely with the Physiotherapist to deliver high-quality therapy and support to residents.
In this role, you will be responsible for conducting physical exercises, providing targeted massages and joint manipulation, educating patients on movement and exercise, and writing reports for medical professionals. You will also maintain accurate records of resident assessments, treatment programs, and progress, ensuring effective communication with relevant staff.

* Educate patients on movement and exercise techniques.
* Write detailed reports for doctors and other medical specialists.
* Assist in improving patient mobility and enhancing their quality of life by completing mobility assessments and care planning.
* Liaise with other healthcare professionals, clients/residents' families, and outside agencies as required.
* Evaluate the effectiveness of treatment and modify it where appropriate in consultation with facility management.

Minimum Qualifications:
To be successful in this role, you will need to meet the following minimum qualifications:
* Bachelor's degree in Physiotherapy.
* Current registration with AHPRA.
Key Skills and Experience:
We are looking for an individual with:
* Previous experience gained in a similar role; aged care experience highly regarded but not essential.
* Technological fluency and ability to adapt to new systems.
* Excellent written and verbal English language skills (essential), Vietnamese language skills (desirable).
