The Builder/Role:
Led by a transparent and likeable director, this boutique-sized builder quietly goes about their business while doing some great work. Specialising in custom homes up to $1M, they have a long list of happy clients as well as a healthy pipeline to come. Due to growth, they require an experienced office professional to come onboard, assisting with a variety of tasks – from project and payroll admin, supplier and trade coordination, to documentation filing and control. This really is an opportunity to make this role your own, work close to home – with options to work either permanently on a Part-time or Full-time basis.
What you'll be doing:
Providing ongoing admin & coordination support, your main responsibilities will include:
Project & Payment Administration
- Paying supplier & subcontractor invoices + weekly wages
- Checking timesheet submission & calculating monthly costs
- Back costing of materials & supplier invoices
- Administering compliance docs throughout customer build
- Using CRM software throughout sales/agreement and meeting stages
Trade & Supplier Coordination
- Following up & confirming activity + updated schedules
- Updating weekly spreadsheets (cash flow, leads, job hours etc)
- Sending off & following up quotes from trades & suppliers
- OH&S, toolbox & SWM admin management & filing
What you'll need:
- 3-4+ years diverse Office Admin experience (Essential)
- Willingness to get involved with a variety of aspects
- Some degree of residential building knowledge (Ideally)
- Friendly, easy-going manner that has a go
- Strong communication skills (written & spoken)
- Proactive mindset with strong attention to detail
- Intermediate-level PC skills (Word, Excel, Outlook)
- Willingness to learn other software as needed (eg Canva, Xero, Buildxact)
