The Role
The purpose of the Procurement Manager is to provide expertise and management to assure the supply, value and risk mitigation of raw materials within the organisation. Whilst this is a largely independent position, you will be acting in alignment with business strategies (local and global) and will have the support and regular engagement with leadership team where your input into future sourcing strategy development will be valued.

Leveraging your market understanding and strong procurement and supply chain experience to manage the ongoing procurement for our Australian business and strategy development of raw materials across Asia Pacific zone
Negotiating new and existing supplier agreements and managing supplier relationships
Building and providing market intelligence for commodity trends, building accurate budgets and forecasting models to support risk mitigation for the business
Meeting targets associated with savings, supply assurance, sustainability and risk mitigation.
Supporting the Purchasing team with escalation enquiries

About You
Significant experience in a Purchasing/Supply chain environment with commercial acumen
An understanding of FMCG as an industry, ideally with direct experience
A desire to build and lead a team who can share your focus on business success
Experience with Agricultural commodities
