Technical Business Analyst – Digital

This is a critical role responsible for leading business analysis activities across our digital ecosystem, including our website, CMS, CRM, and mobile applications. You will play a central role in the delivery of a major website transformation initiative and ongoing digital enhancements.
Business Analysis & Requirements Leadership
Lead end-to-end requirements gathering across Marketing, Sales and other key departments
Facilitate structured workshops to define business objectives, user needs, functional and technical requirements
Translate business needs into clear, detailed documentation including business requirements, functional specifications, user stories and process maps
Define scope boundaries and manage requirement traceability throughout delivery
Ensure alignment on "what success looks like" for digital initiatives
Stakeholder Engagement & Governance
Act as the key interface between Marketing, IT, Sales and Digital teams
Confidently engage senior stakeholders and hold them accountable to agreed scope and timelines
Provide constructive challenge and push back where requirements are unclear, out of scope or misaligned to strategy
Help manage expectations around priorities, risks and delivery outcomes
Support governance processes including change impact assessments and approval forums
Vendor & Delivery Coordination
Work closely with external development vendors and platform partners
Clarify requirements, validate technical solutions and ensure delivery aligns with agreed specifications
Escalate and resolve delivery risks or requirement gaps proactively
Support testing cycles including SIT and UAT, ensuring business readiness
Collaborate closely with the Project Manager to keep delivery on track
Digital Platform Oversight
Contribute as subject matter expert across CMS, CRM and website platforms
Support integration activities between digital platforms and internal systems
Provide oversight of data integrity, system configuration and platform optimisation opportunities
Identify improvement opportunities through monitoring of performance and stakeholder feedback
Documentation & Continuous Improvement
Maintain clear documentation including requirement artefacts, decision logs and support processes
Contribute to knowledge articles and future-state process documentation
Ensure compliance with data protection and cybersecurity standards across digital initiatives
What We're Looking For
You are a confident and technically capable Business Analyst with experience delivering digital or website-based projects. You understand how digital platforms support marketing and sales functions and can operate effectively between business stakeholders and technical delivery teams.
Essential Experience
5+ years' experience as a Technical Business Analyst (or similar role)
Proven experience working on website or digital platform initiatives
Experience working with external development vendors
Strong requirements gathering and workshop facilitation skills
Ability to translate business requirements into technical specifications
Experience supporting CMS and CRM platforms
Exposure to integrations, APIs and data flows
Familiarity with web technologies (HTML, CSS, JavaScript fundamentals)
Working knowledge of SQL or data reporting tools
