About the Position
As a personal care specialist, you will be responsible for providing high-quality support to clients in their homes, promoting independence and enhancing their overall well-being.
* Spending time on the road conducting scheduled visits to ensure continuity of care.
* Engaging with clients one-on-one to assist with daily tasks such as personal hygiene, meal preparation, house cleaning, and laundry.
* Providing personalized care services according to individualized Care Plans.
* Supporting clients in participating in community-based recreational and social activities to promote mental and emotional well-being.
* Assisting with transportation and accompaniment to appointments and shopping trips.
Required Skills and Qualifications
* A Certificate III in Aged Care, Individual Support, or equivalent qualification.
* A current Australian driver's licence (Green Provisional minimum).
* A roadworthy and insured vehicle for work purposes.
* Experience with technology, including smartphones, tablets, and laptops.
* Confidence to satisfy relevant background checks.
