The Senior Avionics Engineer will support the provision of 21J Design Services in close association with MTCH, CAM Services and allied groups.
Responsibilities
* Perform development, review and approval (where applicable) of modifications, repairs and technical data amendments for aircraft electrical and avionics systems.
* Develop plans, test procedures and test reports and participate in trials as needed.
* Conduct technical investigation into defects, deficiencies and faults reported on C27J aircraft avionics systems to determine possible causes and potential solutions.
* Investigate, analyse and provide pragmatic and timely engineering solutions to technical issues experienced during C-27J operations.
About You
* The ability to obtain and maintain an AGSVA security clearance at NV 1.
* Bachelor’s degree in aerospace Avionics and/or Electrical/Electronic Engineering.
* Chartered Membership of Engineers Australia (CPEng), RPEQ.
* Aviation Experience, preferably in a design environment.
* Knowledge of Defence Aviation Regulations (DASR) and/or other Civil/Military Airworthiness Regulations.
* Knowledge of configuration management and certification concepts utilised by ADF and/or civil operators.
