This is a maternity relief position and should the permanent incumbent require an early return from maternity leave, this contract of employment will cease with two weeks notice. Maternity relief positions can be for a period of up to 12 months, with the possibility of continued employment for up to a further 12 months for maternity leave reduced hours, therefore there are no claims to permanency.

About the Opportunity
As the Clinical Services Manager at Gosford Hospital, you will provide strategic leadership, coordination, and development of specialist pharmacy services across CCLHD. This is a pivotal role combining advanced clinical practice with team leadership, ensuring safe, effective, and patient-focused medication management.
You will lead a dedicated team of pharmacists, technicians, and support staff while working collaboratively across multidisciplinary teams to enhance service delivery and patient outcomes.
In this role you will:
* Provide leadership, coordination, and development of clinical pharmacy services to meet organisational goals and patient care standards.
* Supervise, mentor, and support pharmacy staff, fostering a high-performing and collaborative team environment.
* Manage workforce planning, rostering, and resource allocation to ensure efficient and effective service delivery.
* Deliver and oversee clinical pharmacy services, including reviewing, validating, dispensing, and monitoring medications in line with best practice.
* Lead and support quality improvement initiatives, education programs, and research to advance pharmacy practice.
* Collaborate with multidisciplinary teams, community partners, and stakeholders to optimise patient care and continuity of services.

About You
We are looking for a motivated and experienced pharmacy leader who has:
* Registration as a pharmacist with the Australian Health Practitioner Regulation Agency (AHPRA), with extensive clinical knowledge and experience, as well as a current valid NSW driver's license and willingness to travel across the District as required.
* Demonstrated expertise in hospital clinical pharmacy services and advanced clinical decision-making skills.
* Proven leadership experience with the ability to mentor, manage, and develop staff in a complex healthcare environment.
* Strong communication, negotiation, and interpersonal skills to build effective professional relationships.
* Experience in quality improvement, research, and education within a clinical setting.
* Ability to prioritise, problem-solve, and work both autonomously and collaboratively.
