Following the successful launches of products which have revolutionised turf management, such as Maxtima Fungicide and Pylex Herbicide, we are seeking an enthusiastic individual to join our dynamic team at the forefront of innovation. As the only manufacturer with a pipeline of groundbreaking technology, you will be instrumental in launching new, patented actives into the turf market and driving the growth of our professional turf and ornamental solutions.

Formula for Success

As a Technical Sales Specialist for Turf, you will support our distribution partners to provide technical expertise for BASF’s turf, ornamental, and professional vegetation management (Pro VM) portfolio. You will be responsible for delivering technical information, training and demonstrations, communicating with territory managers and turf managers alike, to drive sales goals while maintaining the technical integrity of our products.

Key Responsibilities:

* Implement sales and customer interaction strategies across Australia.
* Engage directly with end users and distributors to build strong professional partnerships.
* Provide industry insights to inform marketing campaigns.
* Support distribution interactions through newsletters, webinars, and training sessions.
* Conduct demonstrations to showcase BASF products with a focus on stewardship.
* Participate in industry events and collaborate with the Technical Development Specialist to drive sales initiatives.

Ingredients for Success

To be successful in this role, you’ll possess the perfect combination of great communication, strong stakeholder management skills, and an ability to translate technical information to a diverse range of audiences. You will have:

* The ability to be autonomous and self-motivated while being a collaborative member of a focused team.
* Technical knowledge related to turf management, with a strong ability to communicate effectively with Turf Managers and distribution.
* Proven experience in B2B sales and customer relationship management.
* A proactive approach to problem-solving and a drive to meet sales targets.
* Willingness to travel frequently to build relationships and support our distribution partners.
* Formal qualifications and experience in the turf management sector is highly regarded.
