Job Summary
The Project Manager - Agile Delivery & Governance is responsible for leading the end-to-end delivery of complex initiatives using Agile and hybrid delivery models, while ensuring strong governance and stakeholder alignment. This role bridges execution and assurance-driving delivery outcomes while maintaining transparency, risk management, and compliance with enterprise governance standards. Preferred experience in leading cloud integration and engineering team. The role works closely with Product Owners, Scrum Masters, Delivery Leads, Technology teams, and senior stakeholders to ensure initiatives are delivered on time, within budget, and aligned to strategic objectives.
Key Roles & Responsibilities
* Lead the delivery of small to medium Agile or hybrid (Agile-Waterfall) initiatives across technology and business domains
* 8+ years' experience in Project Management & Agile Delivery Management roles
* Demonstrated experience delivering complex technology or transformation programs
* Experience in regulated or enterprise environments (e.g. banking, financial services, insurance) preferred
* Relevant certifications desirable (e.g. PMP, PRINCE2, SAFe, Scrum Master, Agile PM)
* Drive sprint cadence, PI planning, release planning, and delivery tracking across squads/streams
* Ensure delivery teams are outcome focused, removing impediments and managing cross team dependencies
* Own delivery governance including status reporting, RAID management, and decision logging
* Strong experience delivering Agile and hybrid projects in complex environments
* Excellent planning, dependency management, and problem solving skills
* Experience working with senior leadership audiences
* Deep understanding of Agile delivery frameworks (Scrum, Kanban, SAFe)
* Comfortable working with technology teams (engineering, testing, cloud, data)
* Ability to translate technical progress into business relevant outcomes
* Identify, assess, and proactively manage delivery risks, issues, and dependencies
* Act as the primary point of accountability for delivery outcomes
* Embed Agile delivery best practices and promote a culture of continuous improvement
* Drive standardization of delivery artefacts, metrics, and reporting
* Support uplift of Agile maturity across teams and stakeholders
