Sydney-based Associate Role
We are seeking an ambitious and detail-oriented individual to join our team as a Sydney-based Associate. This role is ideal for someone who wants to gain valuable experience in the finance industry, develop their skills, and work closely with senior bankers.
Job Responsibilities:
* Work alongside Senior Bankers and Product Partners to execute transactions from initial pitch through to close for both existing and prospective clients
* Prepare marketing materials for use in client meetings covering topics such as financing, working capital optimization, industry and peer analysis
* Support Senior Bankers to help generate new revenue opportunities from prospects and existing clients
* Collaborate with credit underwriting teams on analysis and documentation of credit requests
* Build and use financial models to support financing transactions; and to assist with reporting requirements and data management
* Coordinate with coverage bankers to produce and distribute client deliverables
* Develop an understanding of the full breadth of J.P. Morgan products and service offerings, including but not limited to M&A, debt capital markets, equity capital markets, and treasury services
Required Skills and Qualifications:
* Minimum 3 years relevant experience in Corporate or Investment Banking experience
* Proficient analytical, and modelling skills
* Organized, detail-oriented and proactive
* Ability to work under pressure in a fast-paced, collaborative work environment
* Highly motivated team player with solid communication and project management skills
* Outstanding ethics, integrity and judgment
* Excel and Power Point skills
