TNC Cranes is growing, and we're looking for a highly organised and detail-focused Scheduler to support our field service operations. This role is ideal for someone who enjoys planning, problem-solving, and keeping people and resources moving efficiently.
As our Scheduler, you will be responsible for the day-to-day and forward planning of technician work, ensuring jobs are scheduled effectively and technicians are mobilised with the right information and site requirements. You'll work closely with the Operations Manager, technicians, estimator, and storeperson to keep service delivery running smoothly.

What You'll Be Doing
Planning & Scheduling
* Build and maintain the rolling 4-week schedule and the detailed weekly plan
* Allocate technicians and vehicles for service, repairs, breakdowns, and project work
* Adapt quickly to breakdowns, weather, scope changes or client requests
* Maintain expected employee utilisation targets
* Issue daily schedules and communicate updates to technicians
Technician Coordination & Site Readiness
* Ensure technicians are scheduled with the correct site access, inductions, and documentation
* Liaise with clients to confirm access windows and site requirements
* Coordinate mobilisation details with technicians ahead of site works
* Work closely with the storeperson to ensure parts and equipment align with the schedule
Operational Support
* Support the Operations Manager by identifying scheduling conflicts or capacity constraints
* Track schedule adherence and flag delays or risks early
* Assist with service job preparation and coordination
* Contribute to continuous improvement of planning and scheduling processes

What We're Looking For
* Someone naturally organised, systematic, and detail-focused
* Experience in scheduling, coordination, logistics, or workforce planning (preferred but not essential)
* Strong communication skills and the ability to deal confidently with technicians and clients
* Ability to manage competing priorities in a fast-paced service environment
* Confidence using job or service management software (Simpro experience a bonus)
* A reliable team player with a proactive and solutions-focused mindset
