This is for a Permanent Full-Time appointment at 76 hours per fortnight.

An opportunity exists for a talented and enthusiastic Clinical Nurse to join the Palliative Care team at Hedland Health Campus in the Pilbara.

To be successful, you will have...

* Advanced nursing and competence in the provision of patient assessment, planning, implementation and evaluation of delivery of care within the palliative care practice setting.
* Advanced skills in planning, coordination and decision making within the palliative care setting.
* Well-developed team leadership and membership skills, communication (written and verbal) and interpersonal skills.
* Demonstrates incorporation of quality and risk management within practice.
* Demonstrated understanding of the Medicines and Poisons ACT 2014, Medicines and Poisons Regulations 2016, and the Health Practitioner Regulation National Law Act 2010.

Position Profile

To deliver comprehensive, evidence-based nursing care for palliative patients in the hospital and community environments within the scope of practice of the Registered Clinical Nurse. This is a regional position which may require regional travel and a provision of on call services for patients across the region.
