**About the Role**
Based out of our Melbourne Head Office, join our Retail Banking Division as Analyst Customer Targeting & Performance. If you bring experience working with campaigns and marketing, this could be the perfect opportunity!
As part of the Product and Customer Analytics team, this role performs an important function in the team to work with data, identify the right customers to target and deliver the right message to these customers.
This work underpins the Groups' strategic roadmap to empower informed decisions.
**Key responsibilities**:
- Deliver data execution of customer targeting / campaign activities through BOQ group internal (ACS Digital team) and external deployment channels (Taguchi)
- Utilise appropriate analytics tools (Data Governor, SQL, SAS) to automate and ensure scalable deliveries for support of audience targeting in campaign activities
- Assist in building out and managing the systems and processes for campaign orchestration - audience selection, contact strategy, uplift of customer profiles and new targeting attributes
- Monitoring of file deliveries to the deployment channels, diagnosing causes of job failures and conducting routine health checks on data quality
- Mindful in meeting agreed deadlines for adhoc campaigns and delivering to a high level of quality using available resources
- Identify any critical improvement areas & opportunities to drive the culture of continuous improvement and risk mitigation
- Analyse, present & socialise the key success metrics of campaign activities (leading and lagging indicators)
- Help stakeholders to understand, develop key measures to track customer performance
- Manage weekly, monthly data / report deliveries and communicate to stakeholders on the key insights
**About you**
Experience
- 2+ years of robust knowledge of customer behaviour, specifically on customer targeting / campaigns analytics processes & framework
- Strong ability to analyse, design and improve on systems & processes
- Previous experience in banking and financial services will be highly regarded
- Exceptional time management and stakeholder negotiation skills
Technical knowledge
- Mandatory proficiency in SQL/relational databases (SQLServer/Oracle/Cloud alternatives)Working knowledge of PowerBI will be highly regarded
- Basic understanding of data modelling, data governance practices, data solution design for product development, data visualization
- Ability to gain deep insights into customer needs, behaviours and choices
- Outstanding fact-based problem-solving skill set
**Qualifications**:
- Relevant tertiary qualification or related work experience (Business / Mathematics / Accounting / Statistics / Finance / Marketing / Communications)
