Supplier Quality Coordinator Job Summary
This is a pivotal quality leadership role that involves maintaining supplier-related standards across raw materials, packaging and critical service providers.
The ideal candidate will have the ability to conduct regular quality reviews with high-risk suppliers and lead onboarding for new suppliers, materials and co-manufacturers to minimize quality & safety risks.
The successful candidate will also be responsible for raising supplier non-conformances and driving corrective actions, planning, executing & following up internal and supplier audits, implementing systems to track non-conformance trends & report against critical metrics, conducting vulnerability risk assessments (VACCP) and applying control strategies, maintaining clear, accurate and auditable supplier documentation, and supporting M&A integration and raw material shelf-life extensions where required.
Key Responsibilities:
* Conduct regular quality reviews with high-risk suppliers to ensure compliance with Diageo's quality standards.
* Lead the onboarding process for new suppliers, materials and co-manufacturers to minimize quality & safety risks.
* Raise supplier non-conformances and drive corrective actions to prevent recurrence.
* Plan, execute & follow up internal and supplier audits to ensure compliance with Diageo's quality standards.
* Implement systems to track non-conformance trends & report against critical metrics.
* Conduct vulnerability risk assessments (VACCP) and apply control strategies to mitigate risks.
* Maintain clear, accurate and auditable supplier documentation to ensure transparency and accountability.
* Support M&A integration and raw material shelf-life extensions where required to ensure business continuity.
