This is a freelance opportunity with a leading principal contractor, offering a chance to play a pivotal role in the successful delivery of a major heavy civils scheme.The ideal candidate will have a proven track record of delivering complex infrastructure projects and be adept at managing all commercial aspects from inception to completion.ResponsibilitiesFinancial Guardianship: Take ownership of all project costs, from initial budget forecasting and monitoring to final account settlements, ensuring commercial targets are met.Subcontractor Expertise: Manage the full subcontractor life cycle, including drafting contracts, negotiation, and diligent administration of payments, variations, and claims.Strategic Commercial Insight: Act as a trusted commercial advisor to the project team, guiding strategic decisions to ensure profitable and efficient project delivery.Proactive Risk Mitigation: Lead the identification and mitigation of commercial and contractual risks, protecting the project from unforeseen financial and operational challenges.Stakeholder Partnership: Cultivate robust relationships with the client and key stakeholders, ensuring clear communication and the effective resolution of all commercial matters.Qualifications / ExperienceExperience delivering complex infrastructure projects and managing all commercial aspects from inception to completion.Proven ability to manage financials, subcontractor contracts, payments, variations, and claims on major projects.Additional InformationRandstad CPE values and promotes equality.
