About the Job
We are seeking an experienced HR Manager to join our team at design-build-recruitment, a leading construction company in commercial and residential spaces.
This role is a true generalist position with a focus on HR cultural initiatives to maintain and enhance our strong culture across the business.
The key responsibilities of this role include:
1. Building and maintaining external and internal relationships
2. Human Resource Management including recruitment, employee relations, performance management, contract generation, reviews, and cultural initiatives
3. End-to-end recruitment and onboarding, agency relationship management, and operational procedures
4. Contractual management, policy development, and strategic planning
5. Staff supervision, training, and development
6. Executive meeting attendance and record-keeping
7. Marketing and communications, including website and social media management, tender preparations, and award submissions
8. Cultural initiatives and employee engagement
9. IT management and infrastructure
10. Leadership and guidance of the administrative team
Your Skills and Experience
1. A minimum of 5 years of experience in a similar role within the construction sector is essential
2. Tertiary qualifications in a relevant field, such as Human Resources, are required
3. Excellent multitasking and prioritization skills, with the ability to adapt to changing workloads
4. A strong and resilient personality, with the capacity to lead and cultivate a positive company culture
5. Proficiency in IT systems, including the Microsoft Office suite, with a willingness to learn new technologies
6. Exceptional written and verbal communication skills in English
