After Hours Coordinator
Permanent Part-time
Terang & Mortlake Health Service welcome applications for an After Hours Coordinator. This is a key leadership position that is accountable for efficient and effective operational management of the hospital after-hours. You will:
* Support and contribute to planning, implementing, and evaluating care practices, processes, and services.
* Ensure compliance with policies, procedures, and legislative requirements to uphold best practices.
* Collaborate with Shift Leaders and Unit Managers to achieve excellence in care delivery.
* Lead and inspire a dedicated team of nurses to deliver high-quality patient care.
* Work closely with VMOs to ensure optimal patient outcomes and adherence to best practices.
* Report directly to the Director of Nursing, contributing to strategic goals and objectives.
About You
To be successful in this role you will be a positive and effective leader with the ability to motivate others. You will thrive in an environment with the diverse challenges that rural health brings. You will also bring;
* Relevant qualifications and Registration with AHPRA as a Registered Nurse
* Minimum 5 years postgraduate experience within Acute Care.
* Demonstrated ability to be an effective clinical practice role model
* Sound Computer skills
To be successful you will need to be available during to work a 7-day rotating roster across all shifts.
