Position Description

In this full-time permanent position, you'll work within a case management framework in an outreach role, providing support to individuals who are experiencing domestic, family or sexual violence to help create lasting change for children. The role is based in Mt Isa with flexible hours; service is available until 10pm, 7 days a week.

Responsibilities

* Providing holistic case management, delivering support to vulnerable and disadvantaged clients and supporting relationships for favourable client outcomes
* Ensuring the voices of children and young people are heard
* Identifying strengths, establishing goals for the program and reviewing client progress towards these goals
* Promoting skills which increase health, safety and development

Qualifications

* Demonstrated experience in case management and knowledge of relevant legislation
* Demonstrated experience working with, and understanding of, Aboriginal and Torres Strait Islander communities and families
* Strong report writing, analytical and evaluation skills, including data collation and analysis
* Tertiary qualification in a relevant field and/or significant experience working in the domestic and family violence sector

* Award rate salary (currently Level 4.1 – $44.58 per hour) plus super and full salary packaging benefits
