Taboon Robina is looking for an experienced FOH Supervisor to join our Food Service Team.
This is an exciting opportunity for an enthusiastic professional to join one of the Gold Coasts' iconic Restaurants and to take it to the next level in terms of service.
It is a Permanent/ Permanent Casual position (30-35hrs/week) that will be organised on a 5 day rotating roster with a second Supervisor and involves a variety Lunch, Dinner & Weekend Shifts. Availability to work a minimum of 3 night shifts/week is essential including Friday & Saturday nights.
For Training purposes the first 4 weeks of employment will be at LVL 2 Casual Rates.
After that LVL 5 Permanent/Casual Rates will apply with the potential for further increases depending on performance.
The following is a brief outline of the job responsibilities:
* Supervise & carry out daily restaurant operations and service
* Lead and support front-of-house staff during shifts
* Ensure high standards of customer service
* Handle customer enquiries and complaints professionally
* Manage workflow between Dine-In/Pick-Up/Delivery Apps
* Assist with staff training, rostering, and shift coordination
* Ensure compliance with food safety, workplace health & safety, and RSA requirements
* Monitor cleanliness, presentation, and service standards
* Assist with stock control, ordering, and minimising waste
* Operate POS systems and oversee cash handling procedures
* Support management with reporting and daily administration
These are the work skills & personal traits required to fulfil the position:
* Excellent Barista skill
* Fully Experienced in POS & EFTPOS operations
* Good knowledge of food & wine
* Ability to recommend food to customers & upsell
* Experienced in all facets of restaurant Table Service and Counter Service
* Ability to work efficiently & quickly under pressure and maintain work focus
* Bright, friendly & confident personality
* Ability to learn large diverse menu thoroughly within 4 week time frame.
* Excellent communication skills both in listening and transferring information
* Excellent customer relations skills/mature attitude
* Punctual, Reliable & Hardworking
