Senior DevOps Engineer Position
This is a 12-month contract with possible extension.
We are seeking an experienced DevOps Engineer to design, build, deploy, and maintain cloud and data infrastructure.
The role involves managing and prioritizing tasks effectively, maintaining an organized and transparent work queue.
The ideal candidate will ensure all solutions adhere to best practices and industry standards for integration.
Collaboration with stakeholders is essential to align technical solutions with business outcomes.
The DevOps Engineer will work closely with stakeholders to define requirements, establish priorities, and adapt to evolving needs.
Key Responsibilities:
* Design, build, deploy, and maintain cloud and data infrastructure
* Manage and prioritize tasks effectively
* Ensure all solutions adhere to best practices and industry standards
* Collaborate with stakeholders to align technical solutions with business outcomes
* Work closely with stakeholders to define requirements, establish priorities, and adapt to evolving needs
Required Skills and Qualifications:
* Extensive hands-on experience with AWS infrastructure and services
* Experience with DevOps practices, tools, and CI/CD pipelines like GitLab, Artifactory, and Jira
* Experience with Infrastructure as Code tools such as Terraform
* Proficiency with version control systems like Git and agile methodologies
* Ability to write code in languages such as Python, JavaScript, and Golang
* Experience with containerisation, deployment, and orchestration tools like Docker and Kubernetes
* Database deployment and administration skills with Postgres and MySQL
* Experience with Azure Infrastructure administration
* Knowledge of Networking, Cloudflare, Hashicorp Vault
* Experience with PKI management
