Barranggirra Mentor Role
This role involves supporting Aboriginal apprentices and trainees through the Barranggirra Program. The successful candidate will have experience working with Aboriginal communities, qualifications in mentoring or a related field, and strong community engagement skills.
Key Responsibilities:
* Mentor participants to achieve successful completion of their apprenticeship or traineeship.
* Build supportive relationships with participants, employers, and extended family members.
* Develop individual mentoring plans and facilitate post-training outcomes.
Required Skills and Qualifications:
* Qualifications in Mentoring, Case Management, or relevant disciplines.
* Aboriginality as identified under Section 14(4) of the Anti-Discrimination Act 1977.
* Extensive community engagement experience working with Aboriginal communities.
