About the Role
We need an experienced, tech-savvy Senior Payroll Officer to take the reins and help drive improvements as the business migrates to a new rostering platform.
Responsibilities
Process fortnightly payroll for approximately 300 employees across multiple awards.
Liaise with managers across several sites to ensure data accuracy and timely payroll updates.
Troubleshoot discrepancies, advise on payroll legislation, and maintain compliance.
Contribute to ongoing system migration, testing, and payroll process optimisation.
Manage year-end reconciliations, STP, PAYG summaries, and audit reporting.
Qualifications
At least 5 years of end-to-end payroll experience.
Solid exposure to payroll system transitions and process improvement.
In-depth understanding of awards, compliance, and legislative requirements.
Ability to find better ways to get things done and a strong analytical mindset.
Detail-obsessed, reliable, and motivated.
