Overview

As a People Business Partner, you will be a key contributor to the People and Capability department, providing expert advice and support to leaders and staff across the organisation. You will drive HR best practices, aligning them with the People Strategy and broader business objectives. Your role will encompass end-to-end recruitment, workforce planning analytics, and coaching managers in performance excellence and change management.

Part-time position 0.6 FTE

As a People Business Partner, you will provide expert, hands-on HR advice and consultancy to leaders and staff, acting as an internal consultant and key point of contact for all HR services. You will manage a wide range of HR activities, including industrial and employee relations, performance management, and recruitment, while also developing and implementing HR projects and strategies that align with business plans.


What you will need to exceed

* Extensive experience managing employee and industrial relations issues, with a deep understanding of relevant legislation, including the Fair Work Act, EEO, OHS, and general employment law.
* Proven ability to partner with internal teams, acting as a trusted consultant to deliver high-quality HR solutions.
* Exceptional communication and interpersonal skills, with a proven ability to influence a diverse range of stakeholders
* Skilled in analysing HR data and producing metric-based reports to inform and drive modern, solution-focused HR initiatives.
* A track record of building strong relationships and coaching managers on all aspects of performance and HR.


Must have

* A degree in Human Resources or a related field with significant experience in a generalist HR management role.
* Experience across a broad range of HR functions, including end-to-end recruitment and employee/industrial relations (ER/IR).
* Experience in planning and implementing organizational change.
* A current Victorian driver's license.
