Responsibilities
* Carrying design authority as well as the expectation of technical expertise, problem solving skills, communication skills, people skills, and contributions to the technical community.
* Being technical experts in a specific aspect of a discipline and its application
* Communicating technical issues throughout the organization
* Applying science, engineering, theory, and processes, standards, best practices, and lessons learned.
* Coordinating expertise in one or more engineering and science disciplines across the technology project portfolio, assuring rigor is applied through the design and development processes.
* Ensuring needed personnel skills and expertise are in place across the organization for the discipline.
Qualifications
* Have a Bachelor Degree in Geoscience or Petroleum Engineering
* Have a minimum of 5 years of experience in Geoscience & Geosteering
* Have experience in LWD (preferred)
* Have strong oral and written communication skills
* Have strong problem solving skills
* Have strong interpersonal and leadership skills.
* Have the ability to coordinate several projects simultaneously
