Senior Manager Role

The role of Senior Manager involves working with clients on complex deals, including acquisitions and disposals by private equity investors, funds, or strategic corporate clients. This includes working closely with clients, their bankers, and legal advisers, and performing tasks such as cash, debt, and working capital analysis, pricing schedule preparation, and financial reviews of the SPA and Completion Accounts.

This role requires strong analytical skills, attention to detail, and excellent communication skills. The ideal candidate will have a bachelor's or master's degree in accounting, business, finance, or economics, and be a member of the Institute of Chartered Accountants, CAANZ, or an international equivalent.

Key responsibilities include:

* Managing and participating in SPA advisory engagements for acquisitions or disposals by private equity investors, funds, or strategic corporate clients.
* Advising clients on transaction mechanisms and financial analysis by providing insights on the most suitable purchase price mechanisms, analyzing financial results through diligence findings and interviews, and supporting negotiations with clients to agree on detailed and compelling outputs.
* Building and maintaining relationships with internal contacts and external clients to develop a portfolio of high-value projects, and collaborating with other EY service teams to deliver an integrated approach to clients.


Required Skills and Qualifications

The following skills and qualifications are required for this role:

* Possess a bachelor or master degree in accounting, business, finance, or economics.
* Be a member of the Institute of Chartered Accountants, CAANZ, or an international equivalent.
* Have at least 5 years of experience in a professional services or chartered accounting environment, or in a financial performance and analysis or mergers & acquisitions role at a corporate organization.
* Demonstrated ability to quickly develop, build, and manage relationships with multiple clients and teams, both external and internal.
