The Client:
A long-established food manufacturing site that focuses on producing shelf-stable condiments at scale while maintaining consistent quality. The facility manages raw ingredient intake, blending, cooking, filling, and packaging within controlled environments to meet strict food safety standards. Automated lines are supported by hands-on production, maintenance, quality assurance, and warehousing teams working together to ensure efficiency and traceability.
About the Role
Reporting directly to the Production Manager you will be responsible for overseeing the receiving dock. You will manage all incoming deliveries, allocation of stock and assist the warehouse and production teams. You will be unloading palletised stock of fresh Fruit and Vegetables as well as Glass Jar and Cardboard packaging.

Key Responsibilities
* Counterbalance loading and unloading for trucks, Semi's and B-Doubles
* Daily rigid trucks to be loaded and unloaded
* Trucks hold 40-50 pallets each
* Trucks are onsite between 7am–3pm
* High reach up to 4 racks high
* Moving stock throughout the warehouse and production areas
* Shrink wrapping pallets (all pallets double strapped for nationwide transport)
* Labelling stock and picking orders
* RF scanning
* Signing in all delivery drivers to site
* Maintaining and monitoring stock levels from deliveries
* Recording information for HACCP compliance
* Organizing the receiving area for next day deliveries
* Transporting packaging such as glass jars to production lines
* In down times you will also assist the despatch team to load goods for outgoing deliveries

To be successful in this role you will have:
Qualifications & Experience:
* Valid LF forklift license
Skills & Attributes:
* Current forklift licence with counterbalance experience
* Experience loading and unloading trucks, B-doubles and semi-trailers
* Confident operating forklifts at height
* Experience transporting pallets to production lines
* RF Scanning experience
* Experience checking paperwork against incoming deliveries
* Experience transporting goods from production lines to despatch and staging areas
* Previous warehouse experience, ideally in food or FMCG
* Experience working within FMCG or fast-paced manufacturing.
* Strong understanding of HACCP, GMP, and hygiene protocols.
* Ability to move pallets efficiently in a high-volume factory
* Strong safety mindset
* Able to manage both physical and administrative tasks
* Reliable, organised and safety-focused
* Good communication skills and ability to work in a small team
* Computer data entry and Warehouse Management System operating experience
