In this leadership role, you will oversee a multi-disciplinary team responsible for delivering and improving key HR services throughout the employee lifecycle, including payroll, recruitment, Work Health and Safety (WHS), and learning and development. You will also provide coaching to foster team growth.Working closely with the People, Capability and Culture Leadership Team, you will help shape HR service delivery, ensure compliance, and lead strategic initiatives contributing to ReturnToWorkSA’s success.The positionAs the Manager, you will lead a passionate team providing high-quality HR services. Your responsibilities include overseeing daily operations, managing workflows, and ensuring efficient handling of HR queries. Your leadership will drive process improvements, standardization, and compliance with policies and legislation while delivering an outstanding employee experience. You will also manage payroll, government reporting, and records management to maintain high standards.This role oversees the full employee lifecycle, from recruitment to offboarding, ensuring HR policies and processes align with broader people strategies. You will manage WHS and Wellbeing services, working with the WHS & Wellbeing Consultant to ensure a safe, compliant workplace. Additionally, you will contribute to organizational change initiatives to optimize systems and processes.This is a full-time fixed-term contract for 3 years.What you bringExperience leading a team passionate about enhancing the employee and workplace experienceCalm, dependable, with diplomacy, empathy, and sound decision-making skillsProven track record in process improvement and employee engagement programsExperience managing payroll or similar systems, interpreting industrial instruments and legislationCollaborative mindset with a deep understanding of compliance, risk, and legislative frameworksReturnToWorkSA ProfileOur purpose is to empower and support South Australians impacted by work injury.
