Operating in Port Stephens, we celebrate the spirit of community, with our local staff embodying excellence in every aspect of care delivery.ResponsibilitiesProvide essential household support to clients in their homes, including cleaning, laundry, minor meal preparation, and maintaining a safe, hygienic, and comfortable environment while respecting client privacy and dignity.Perform domestic duties including dusting, vacuuming, mopping, cleaning kitchens, bathrooms, mirrors, and glass.Wash and care for client clothes and linen.Assist with minor meal preparation as required.Safely handle cleaning equipment and materials.Follow infection control, manual handling, and WHS guidelines.Attend training sessions and complete mandatory learning modules.Support a positive and professional environment for clients and the care team.Skills and experiencePrevious experience in domestic cleaning or community/home care.Good written and verbal communication skills.Strong organisational, time management, and problem-solving abilities.Current driver's licence and access to a comprehensively insured vehicle.Working with Children Check.NDIS Worker Screening Check.Ability to exercise initiative and judgment where practice is not clearly defined.Completion of manual handling, infection control, and relevant training.Experience supporting people with disabilities or age-related conditions.What we offerPermanent Part-time role.Generous salary packaging options – access up to $15,900 tax-free annually, plus $2,700 on a Meals and Entertainment Card.Additional staff benefits including birthday leave, volunteer leave, enhanced parental leave, discounted private health insurance, and more.Access to our Employee Assistance Program for wellbeing support.Ongoing professional learning and development opportunities.What to do nowIf this job is for you, please apply now!
