Facilities Management Specialist
A leading organisation in the Western suburbs of Melbourne, Victoria, seeks an experienced professional to lead its facilities management team.
This is a dynamic and forward-thinking role that plays a critical part in ensuring safe, attractive, comfortable, and efficient buildings and structures for occupants and tenants.
The successful candidate will oversee all facilities services, both planned and reactive, managing major contracts and contractors to ensure SLAs and KPIs are met.
Key responsibilities include:
* Developing strong professional relationships with vendors and managing procurement and tenders;
* Ensuring legislative and regulatory activities are certified;
* Leading continuous improvement initiatives and system workflow development;
* Risk management and specialist advice on compliance and contract issues.
To be successful in this role, you will have:
* A degree or diploma in contract management, business management, project management, procurement, or a related discipline;
* A sound understanding of budgeting, procurement, and OH&S principles in facilities management;
* Exceptional skills in managing contracts, time, and priorities;
* Proficiency in MS Word, Excel, Outlook, and PowerPoint;
* Excellent verbal and written communication skills, with the ability to motivate and develop team members;
* The knack for resolving complex issues;
* A current driving licence and Blue Card (or willingness to obtain one).
