Job Description
Epworth Geelong, located in Waurn Ponds, offers exciting opportunities to join our dynamic Perioperative Team as a Theatre Technician. Positions are available for full-time and casual roles for motivated, experienced, or novice Theatre Technicians.

You will make an impact by:
* Assisting clinicians and team members with patient preparation
* Preparing and maintaining operating suite equipment
* Providing safe patient transport within the operating suite and interdepartmental transfers
* Having an inclusive mindset to thrive in a multi-cultural environment
To be successful in this role…
You want to join a team committed to delivering an exceptional patient experience with safety at the forefront. You are a good communicator, compassionate, empathetic, professional, attentive to detail, and adaptable.
You will have:
* A Certificate III in health services assistance, operating theatre tech, or willingness to complete
* Flexibility, good communication skills, and a willingness to learn
* An understanding of medical terminology and technical role requirements
* Best practice in delivering patient-centered care
* A well-developed understanding of relevant safe work practices

The salary range for Theatre Technicians is AUD $57,744 - $69,799 plus superannuation and entitlements, prorated for part-time roles.
