Sleeper Hut Pty Ltd is a well-established company operating across South-East Queensland, specializing in the manufacture and installation of high-quality concrete sleepers. Our head office is based in Beenleigh, with a large holding yard and maintenance facility located in Rocklea.
The Opportunity
We are currently seeking a motivated and reliable Truck Driver to join our Beenleigh based team. This role involves transporting concrete sleepers and steel posts, and operating a truck fitted with a vehicle loading crane. The successful candidate will demonstrate autonomy, a strong work ethic, and a positive attitude.
This position will be full-time at $45 per hour. The mandatory probationary period of 6 months will apply.
Key Requirements
To be considered for this role, applicants must have:
* Ability to operate a vehicle loading crane fitted to the truck
* A current HR (Heavy Rigid) License
* Experience handling wide or oversized loads
* A strong sense of reliability, honesty, and commitment
* Good physical health and the ability to lift and carry heavy objects
* A current Australian driver's license and access to a personal vehicle
Preferred Qualifications (not mandatory)
* Vehicle Loading Crane Licence
* Forklift Licence
* Excavator Ticket
