Are you a COMMITTED ADMINISTRATION/CUSTOMER SERVICE PROFESSIONAL looking for a LONG TERM ROLE.
We are looking for a professional receptionist to join our team in our five-star caring environment.
Newcastle Family and Sports Podiatry is a busy well-established family focused podiatry practice who have been servicing the hunter region and beyond for over 100 years.
If you are friendly, organised and enjoy delivering excellent customer service while completing administration tasks efficiently and in a timely manner, then keep reading.
In this role you will be the first point of contact for our patients, providing exceptional customer service and working within the administration team to ensure the smooth operation of our office.
Responsibilities
* Taking and returning phone calls in a courteous and professional manner
* Patient greeting and check in
* Making client bookings and managing the appointments schedule for 5 podiatrists
* Processing payments and HICAPS claiming
* Typing letters and reports
Importantly you must be capable of undertaking flexible work hours as our practice is open 8am to 7pm Monday to Friday and one Saturday a month 8am – 11am.
Criteria
* Previous experience in a reception or administrative role (medical experience is an advantage, but not essential).
* Strong organisational skills and ability to multitask in a fast-paced environment.
* Possess a friendly, caring, and compassionate nature.
* Self‑motivated team player.
* Meticulous attention to detail.
* Flexibility to change hours around to cover annual and sick leave.
